Consumer prices increased by 2 percent year-on-year (y-o-y) in May and 0.3 percent month-on-month (m-o-m) with the growth being chiefly driven by foodstuffs, non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages and financial services (banking fees), the Statistics Office reported on Monday. According to the Statistics Office, the most significant price growth was reported in food and non-alcoholic drinks, going up 1.3 percent and alcoholic drinks and tobacco, going up 1.2 percent.
