Statistics Office: Inflation in Slovakia at 2.9 pc in September

Year-on-year inflation in Slovakia amounted to 2.9 percent in September, with core inflation standing at 2.6 percent and net inflation at 2 percent, the Slovak Statistics Office reported on Monday. In September 2019 month-on-month cumulative inflation was influenced by core inflation by 0.19 percentage points (p.p.), while regulated prices had a negative impact of 0.06 p.p. Indirect taxes had no effect on cumulative inflation.
