State to regulate COVID-19 test price, to be 1674 crowns at most

May 14th, 2020

The Czech Health Ministry will start regulating the maximum price of the test for COVID-19 for private payers, which will be 1,674 crowns at the most, compared with the sums ranging from 1,800 to 3,000 crowns that people pay for it now, Health Minister Adam Vojtech (for ANO) said today. The tests of the nose and mouth swab samples are needed, for example, by those who commute to work abroad.
