Start of new school year affected by coronavirus in Slovakia

Approximately 693,000 students returned to school in Slovakia on Wednesday, as the 2020/2021 school year began. Like the second half of the previous school year, this year will be overshadowed by the coronavirus outbreak. Several hygiene measures will have to be observed at schools. At the same time, all students attending primary and secondary schools are obliged to return as of Wednesday.
