Spring in Hungary nearly 2 C. colder than usual

Temperatures this past spring in Hungary have been on average almost 2 C. colder than usual, with more "freezing" and "snowy" days registered, the Hungarian Meteorological Service (OMSZ) said. The mean temperature during the season was 9.3 C as opposed to 11.2 in 1991-2020. The last time spring was cooler was back in 1987, OMSZ said on Thursday.
