Spectators at stadiums can occupy 50 percent of seats

July 23rd, 2021

Spectators at sporting events of top domestic and international competitions will be able to occupy 50 percent of the stadium's capacity without a fixed number limit in green districts, i.e. at the so-called monitoring level [all districts in Slovakia are currently at this level. - ed. note], according to a new decree of the Public Health Office (UVZ) that comes into force as of Friday 8 p.m. Spectators wishing to enter the stands must show a certificate of vaccination, evidence of recovering from COVID-19 or a negative PCR or LAMP test paper no older than 24 hours. "It is therefore no longer possible to show an antigen test result," added UVZ spokeswoman Dasa Rackova.
