A special session of the Slovak parliament's education committee convened to debate the National Football Stadium and its purchase lacked quorum on Friday as only five out of the thirteen committee members showed up. According to committee chair Lubomir Petrak, the members who did not appear had excused themselves in advance, with two of them having serious family and health-related reasons for their absence. The extraordinary session was originally initiated by independent MP Veronika Remisova.
