Special banking levy definitely scrapped by Slovak parliament

Parliament on Tuesday approved the scrapping of the special banking levy as of January 1, 2021. The greenlighted Finance ministry-sponsored bill is a follow-up to the memorandum that was signed in June between the Finance Ministry and the Slovak Banking Association (SBA). The law on the special banking levy entered into effect in January 2012.
