Some French diplomats in Czechia join strike at French embassies

Two employees of the French embassy in Prague joined the strike of the French diplomatic corps, but Ambassador Alexis Dutertre declined to comment on the protests against the planned French reform classifying diplomats as state officials and reducing the operation of consulates, CTK learnt today. The reform sponsored by French President Emmanuel Macron would reduce efficiency and prestige of French diplomacy, its opponents say.
