Some 1,000 scouts attend Central European Jamboree in Prague

Some 1,000 young scouts, aged 14 to 17 years, from 23 countries attend the 15th Central European Jamboree that started in Prague on Tuesday and lasts until August 12, Junak Czech scouting organisation spokeswoman Barbora Trojak has told CTK. Over 400 scouts from the Czech Republic take part in the Jamboree along with those from the other three Visegrad Four (V4) countries, Slovakia, Hungary and Poland, as well as Romania, Israel and even Malaysia. Besides, some 50 scouts arrived from the war-stricken Ukraine.
