Solidarity Poland demands EU-Ukraine mediation

The parliamentary caucus of the opposition Solidarity Poland will lodge a draft resolution calling on Poland's president, prime minister and foreign minister to start mediations between the EU and Ukraine in connection with Euro 2012 boycott plans. The party called for "active mediation measures" to be taken "in view of the declaration of European Commission members and governments of some EU countries relating to the situation of imprisoned former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko."
