The percentage of respondents believing that the general situation in Poland is heading in the right direction rose by 4 pps to 52 percent in June, while the percentage of pessimists decreased by 2 pps to 33 percent, the CBOS survey shows. According to the poll, the assessment of the country's economic situation has also improved in recent weeks. "Currently over a half of those surveyed (up by 5 pps to 56 percent) claim [the economic situation] is good, one in eight expressed an opposite opinion, while more than one in four (27 percent, down by 4 pps) stated the situation is ordinary," the study said. CBOS ran the survey with a sample of 1,115 adult Poles in June.
