The Czech Social Democrat (CSSD) leader, Deputy Prime Minister Jan Hamacek, has a pool of candidates for the post of culture minister he will soon meet, Hamacek told journalists today. The successor to current Culture Minister Antonin Stanek (CSSD), who has decided to resign by the end of May, is to stabilise the office and prepare the competitions for the posts of directors of the National Gallery Prague (NGP) and the Olomouc Art Museum (MUO). Hamacek has declined to elaborate on whether he will be choosing the new ministers among well-known Social Democrat faces.
