The Slovak National Centre for Human Rights (SNSLP) and NGOs ask Prime Minister Igor Matovic (OLaNO) and education minister Branislav Grohling (SaS) to allow second-level elementary school and high school students to return to classrooms as soon as possible in order to protect the best interests of children, TASR learnt from SNSLP media team on Friday. The NGOs appreciate the Government's commitment to saving lives and put a stop to the COVID-19 outbreak. "However, the measures have a serious adverse effect on basic human rights and freedoms, including the right to free-of-charge, quality and inclusive education," reads the statement.
