SNS: Govt has started talks with Russia on Sputnik V vaccine

The extra-parliamentary Slovak National Party (SNS) says the Slovak government has started negotiations with Russia in connection with the Russian Sputnik V vaccine against Covid-19, party spokeswoman Zuzana Skopcova told TASR on Tuesday, adding that SNS welcomes this step. The Health Ministry has not yet confirmed or denied the information. Ministry spokeswoman Zuzana Eliasova told TASR that the state is interested in producing vaccines in Slovakia, and that several options are being negotiated.
