SNS calls on Caputova to reject Istanbul Convention

The Slovak National Party (SNS) on Friday called on President Zuzana Caputova to notify the Council of Europe of Slovakia's rejection of the Istanbul Convention on preventing and combating violence against women and domestic violence. Prime Minister Peter Pellegrini has already briefed her on the government's decision to reject the convention, viewed by SNS as an ideological document that does not address the issue of violence against women, SNS said.
