If a parliamentary election were to be held this month it would be won by Smer-SD with 18.7 percent of the votes, according to a recent poll conducted by the Focus agency. The far-right Kotlebaites-LSNS would come second with 13.6 percent, followed by the Progressive Slovakia (PS)-Together coalition with 10.5 percent. Next would be For the People with 10.3 percent, OLaNO with 7.7 percent, We Are Family with 7.1 percent, the Christian Democratic Movement (KDH) with 6 percent, Freedom and Solidarity (SaS) with 5.4 percent and the Slovak National Party (SNS) with 5.1 percent. The poll was carried out with a sample of 1,010 respondents between January 10 and 14.
