Smer-SD leads in poll with 17.1 pc

January 17th, 2020

If the general election had taken place in mid-January, it would have been won by Smer-SD on 17.1 percent of votes, according to a poll conducted by the Polis agency. The far-right People's Party Our Slovakia (LSNS) are supported by 12.4 percent of respondents, followed by the coalition of OLaNO, NOVA, Christian Union (KU) and Change from Below with 10 percent. The For the People party had 9.7 percent, the Progressive Slovakia(PS)-Together coalition 8.4 percent, the Slovak National Party (SNS) 6.3 percent and the Christian Democrats (KDH) 6 percent of the vote, Polis said.
