Smer-SD filing criminal complaint against Hamran for misusing powers

Smer-SD member and ex-interior minister Robert Kalinak on Tuesday accused acting police chief Stefan Hamran of abusing his powers, saying that Hamran had ordered the police to detain and charge Smer-SD head and MP Robert Fico during a party-organised protest in Bratislava in December. On this note, Kalinak said Smer was set to file a criminal complaint against Hamran, adding that the acting police chief would "soon follow his predecessor, who is also being criminally prosecuted for misusing his powers".
