NATO will firm up its cooperation with Ukraine, which has received NATO recognition as Enhanced Opportunities Partner as of Friday and Slovakia welcomes the move, TASR learnt from Foreign and European Affairs Ministry press department on the same day. The decision, endorsed by all member states, reflects the recognition of existing extensive cooperation between Ukraine and NATO. It will afford Kiev increased opportunities to meet partnership interoperability targets by taking part in specific programmes and the alliance's military exercises.
