March 23rd, 2020
Slovakia currently has 13,000 testing kits for the novel coronavirus at its disposal, and is set to acquire another 19,000 in the next few days, as the government intends to increase the number of people being tested tenfold to 3,000 a day, Prime Minister Igor Matovic said on Monday. "It's possible that we could acquire 200,000 regular testing kits, but we won't be able to say for sure until later today or tomorrow," said Matovic.
