Slovakia waiting for EMA position on booster for minors

The Health Ministry keeps analysing the possibility of vaccinating teenagers with a booster shot, the ministry's spokesperson Zuzana Eliasova told TASR on Thursday, adding that the ministry is waiting for an official recommendation from the European Medicines Agency (EMA). "The ministry, together with experts, are analysing the possibility of administering a booster shot to children under 18 exclusively based on their parents' request. However, we're primarily waiting for the EMA's official position," said Eliasova.
