Slovakia to cut VAT on certain food products

The value-added tax on some food products, including, for example, healthy dairy products, many types of fruit and vegetables, honey and bread, will fall from 20 percent to 10 percent, under a bill sponsored by the Slovak National Party (SNS), passed on Thursday.
