Slovakia receives 2,833 Ukrainian refugees on Su

May 16th, 2022

A total of 2,833 people from Ukraine entered Slovakia via the Slovak-Ukrainian border on Sunday, of which 1,580 were women, 528 children and 725 men, TASR has learnt from Interior Ministry spokesperson Zuzana Eliasova. Of the total, 153 have applied for temporary refuge in the country.
