Slovakia posted trade-balance surplus of over EUR 2.7 bn in 2020

Slovakia posted a trade-balance surplus of over 2.7 billion euros in 2020, the Statistics Office revealed on Thursday in its detailed report for December 2020 and for the whole of last year. Slovakia reported a trade-balance surplus of 150.6 million euros in December. It exported goods worth 6.4 billion euros, up by 11.1 percent y-o-y. Imports reached 6.27 billion euros, increasing by 8.4 percent y-o-y.
