Slovakia's foreign trade balance posted a surplus of 157.6 million euros in November 2019, up by 107.8 million euros year-on-year (y-o-y), the Statistics Office reported on Thursday. Total exports decreased by 4.3 percent y-o-y to 7.309 billion euros in November, while total imports declined by 5.8 percent to 7.152 billion euros. In the January-November period, meanwhile, Slovakia reported a trade surplus of 1.179 billion euros, which was 1.347 billion euros less than in the same period of last year. Exports grew by 1.6 percent y-o-y to 74.616 billion euros, while imports rose by 3.5 percent y-o-y to 73.437 billion euros.
