Interior Minister Roman Mikulec announced on Wednesday following a session of the central crisis management team that the police force will provide more active assistance to hospitals and mobile vaccination teams to increase their protection against verbal, as well as physical attacks from Covid-19 vaccination opponents. According to the minister, acting Police Corps president Stefan Hamran will determine how much manpower and resources will be invested in this endeavour. At the same time, the police are expected to cooperate with other security forces in the country, such as the Armed Forces, Judicial Guard Corps (ZVJS) and Financial Administration.
