Slovakia, Poland discuss opening borders, economic cooperation

Slovak Foreign Minister Ivan Korcok on Friday held talks with his Polish counterpart, Jacek Czaputowicz, on opening the borders and on strengthening economic cooperation. Poland is Slovakia's third biggest trading partner, and so developing the infrastructure between the two countries is of great importance, Korcok said. An interconnector to connect the gas pipelines between Velke Kapusany in Slovakia and Strachocin in Poland is of strategic importance as well, he said.
