Slovakia's jobless rate dropped to an all-time low since the country achieved independence, reaching 4.90 percent in April, general manager of the Labour, Social Affairs and the Family Centre (UPSVR) Marian Valentovic said on Monday at a press conference with Prime Minister Peter Pellegrini and Labour Minister Jan Richter in attendance. The number of jobseekers immediately able to start work stood at 134,790, dropping by 3,172 month-on-month and 14,821 year-on-year.
