Employment in November 2021 rose significantly in yearly terms only in the IT sector, namely by 7.8 percent, the Statistics Office reported on Wednesday. Other, albeit more moderate increases were observed in accommodation services -- up 4.7 percent, and in transport and warehousing -- up 0.7 of a percent. Meanwhile, employment in other fields in the same month decreased. The most notable yearly decline was observed in restaurants and pubs -- 7.8 percent, which was followed by employment drops in the repair and sale of vehicles -- 4.8 percent; in retail -- 4.1 percent; in wholesale -- 4 percent; and in selected market services -- 1.4 percent.
