Slovakia introduces new mask-wearing rules

The rules for wearing face masks in parts of Slovakia have been amended as of Monday, allowing people to wear ordinary face masks and/or scarves and shawls instead of respirators in districts considered orange yellow or green according to the Covid-19 automaton. At the same time, respirators and the alternatives remain mandatory at mass events in the open air in the said regions. Only four districts are currently at the orange stage, namely Hlohovec, Nitra, Senec and Topolcany.
