Slovakia inflation at 2.9 pc in June

Year-on-year inflation in Slovakia amounted to 2.9 percent in June, with core inflation reaching 3.5 percent and net inflation standing at 4 percent, the Statistics Office reported on Wednesday. Core inflation influenced cumulative inflation in June by 0.58 percentage points, while neither indirect taxes nor regulated prices had any impact on cumulative inflation. Net inflation influenced core inflation by 0.49 percentage points, while food prices impacted it by 0.10 percentage points.
