August 11th, 2022
Four out of the five monitored sectors of the economy posted year-on-year growth in revenues in June, with transport and warehousing as well as IT firms maintaining double-digit growth, the Statistics Office said on Thursday. Revenues in industry and selected market services grew at a slower pace, while those in the construction sector were lower than a year ago for the second month in a row. Industry posted annual growth in revenues of 2.8 percent, chiefly driven by car production (up 3 percent), the production of rubber and plastic products (9.2 percent) and other production (20.3 percent).
