Slovakia industrial output down 3.8 pc in August

Industrial output posted a moderate growth of 0.8 percent year-on-year in August, although the growth rate has been slowing down for the fourth consecutive month, the Statistics Office reported on Monday. After seasonal adjustments, industrial output decreased by 3.8 percent month-on-month in August and lagged 0.1 percent behind the pre-pandemic levels (August 2019).
