Slovakia industrial producer prices up 2.4 pc in Jan - stats office

The prices of industrial products for the domestic market in Slovakia increased by 1 percent in January compared with December 2019, the Slovak Statistics Office said on Friday. The growth resulted from the following increases: in electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supplies by 1.1 percent, in manufacturing by 1 percent and in water supplies, waste water treatment, waste management and sanitation services by 0.4 percent. Meanwhile, prices in mining and quarrying shrank by 0.7 percent.
