The number of prosecutors and civil servants at the Special Prosecutor's Office (USP) will go up, according to a proposal to increase the number of people designated to perform USP's tasks that was approved by the cabinet at its session on Wednesday. The number of USP prosecutors will rise from 35 to 38, while the number of civil servants will increase by five to 22. The changes will mainly affect the economic crime department. The property crime and economic crime departments will merge. The number of prosecutors in this department is set to increase from 11 to 14.
