Slovakia's GDP up 1.3 pc in Q3

Slovakia's GDP increased by 1.3 percent year-on-year in the third quarter of 2019, by 1.8 percent y-o-y after seasonal adjustments, and by 0.4 percent quarter-on-quarter, according to preliminary assessments issued by the Statistics Office on Thursday. Slovakia in Q3 produced GDP worth 24.6 billion euros in current prices, an annual increase of 3.4 percent. Meanwhile, 2.5 million people in Slovakia were employed in the same period, an increase of 1 percent on an annual basis. After seasonal adjustments the increase represented 1.1 percent y-o-y and 0.2 percent q-o-q.
