Slovakia GDP up 0.3 pc in Q1 - stats office

Slovakia's gross domestic product increased by 0.3 percent year-on-year in fixed prices and by 0.5 percent y-o-y after seasonal adjustments in the first quarter of 2021, according to a preliminary estimate released by the Slovak Statistics Office on Tuesday. In current prices, GDP worth 21.7 billion euros was generated in the first quarter of 2021, a year-on-year increase of 1 percent.
