Slovakia's Gasparovic stresses need to maintain dialogue with Ukraine

President Ivan Gasparovic is convinced that it isn't a lack of communication but an honest and open dialogue with Ukraine that can serve as the best way of presenting Slovakia's opinions on current political developments in that country, the president's spokesman said on Thursday. Trubac was speaking in reaction to the fact that a growing number of European politicians have announced that they won't take part in a meeting in Yalta in protest at the prosecution of former Ukrainian premier Yulia Tymoshenko.
