Slovakia domestic industrial product prices up 0.9 pc in December

Domestic industrial product prices in Slovakia increased by 0.9 percent month-on-month in December 2021, the Statistics Office reported on Thursday. Industrial product prices in December rose in the following categories: in mining and quarrying - 4.1 percent; in supplies of electricity and gas - 1.7 percent; and in industrial output - 0.4 percent. In yearly terms, industrial product prices grew by 14.5 percent in December. This growth can be attributed to annual increases in the prices of electricity and gas supplies - 17.5 percent; mining and quarrying - 16.8 percent; industrial output - 13 percent; and supplies of water and waste management - 6.9 percent.
