Slovakia could lift state of emergency

The state of emergency, now in place for the eighth month, could be scrapped after an amendment to the Economy Mobilisation Act is approved and ratified, said Investment Minister and For the People chair Veronika Remisova on Wednesday. "As Parliament is now holding a session, this process should be done within the next few days," she said.
