Slovakia contracts 3.6 doses of AstraZeneca

Slovakia has contracted 3.6 million doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine, with the first supplies due to arrive in Slovakia this week and to be allocated primarily to teachers, health ministry spokesperson Zuzana Eliasova confirmed to TASR on Monday. Classroom teachers are assigned a higher priority in the vaccination queue than even critical infrastructure workers, Eliasova said.
