Slovak unions announce protests

Unions belonging to the Trade Union Confederation (KOZ) will go onto the streets to protest over the next three weeks, the KOZ congress decided on Friday. As of next week protests will be held in six towns and cities. The unions cited the government's plans to cut the salaries of workers as the reason behind the protests.
