Slovak Supreme Court releases ex-judge Richard M. from custody

The Supreme Court has released former Bratislava regional court judge Richard M. [name abbreviated due to legal reasons] from custody on Thursday, TASR learnt from his lawyer Ondrej Urban on the same day. "I welcome this decision of the Supreme Court on behalf of the client. I don't know more details of the court's decision, so I'll comment on it after it is delivered to me. I'm glad that after almost 12 months he's been released from custody, also in connection with the ruling of the Constitutional Court as of the end of January this year," Urban told TASR.
