A total of 76 companies will be eligible to receive financial compensation for energy-demanding production as part of the first such state assistance ever this year, while next year's budget also counts on such relief. A total of 40 million euros will be distributed, with the single-highest amount (EUR 12 million) to be given to U.S. Steel Kosice.
