Slovak property prices up 8.5 pc

Prices of residential real estate posted a year-on-year growth of 8.5 percent in the third quarter of this year, the Slovak Statistics Office reported on Monday. The price of new real estate grew by 7.9 percent y-o-y, while the price of existing real estate went up by 8.4 percent. In a quarter-on-quarter comparison, prices of residential real estate increased by 1.5 percent. The price of new real estate rose by 3.8 percent from the second quarter of 2020, while the price of existing real estate dropped by 0.4 percent, stated the Statistics Office.
