At the suggestion of the government, President Zuzana Caputova removed on Thursday Vladimir Pcolinsky from the post of Slovak Intelligence Service (SIS) director, TASR learnt. Pcolinsky was detained last week on suspicion of receiving a bribe from business tycoon Zoroslav K. in exchange for ensuring that SIS would not eavesdrop on him. The Specialised Criminal Court on Sunday decided that Pcolinsky would be remanded in custody.
