President Zuzana Caputova on Tuesday pardoned a 41-year-old woman, a mother of eleven, sentenced repeatedly for unauthorised absence of her children from school, TASR was told by Caputova's spokesman Martin Strizinec on the same day. Apart for legal aspects of the case, the president allegedly took into account the "extremely complicated social situation" of the woman, who also suffered from domestic violence at the hands of her alcoholic cohabitee.
