Slovak Pres urges deal between defence producers, military

Manufacturers of and traders in defence equipment ought to agree with the Slovak armed forces on terms and conditions for the provision of arms and related equipment, President Ivan Gasparovic said on Wednesday. Opening an international fair for defence equipment (IDEB) in Bratislava, the president added that such an agreement would boost success in selling weapons produced in Slovakia to foreign countries.
