Slovak police thank Europol for cooperation in Kuciak murder investigation

Police chief Milan Lucansky thanked Europol for its extremely important and extensive analytical, technical and personnel assistance and support in investigating the murder of journalist Jan Kuciak and his fiancée Martina Kusnirova. "Lucansky particularly emphasised Europol's role as guarantor of the independence, expertise and professionalism of investigations into this unprecedented act," the police said on a social network.
